Welcome to Skinners Muddspinners Pottery.
Pottery can be purchased in Newpoint shopping center at Westside Studio, located in Hattiesburg Mississippi. You can also find pieces in Vincent's gift shop in Lucedale Mississippi.
Skinners Muddspinners is a team pottery which consist of husband and wife, Shane and Gina Skinner. Shane grew up in Tylertown MS and Gina, in Lucedale MS. Shane graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi with a Bachelors in Ceramics and a Masters in Art Education. He will begin a new school year at Trent Lott Middle school in Pascagoula MS. Gina is a stay at home mother who attended Delta State University for 2 years until she transferred to USM for an additional 2 1/2 years where she studied Graphic Design. She works and manages Skinners Muddspinners while doing graphic design work on the side. The Skinners will be relocating to Lucedale, MS where they will continue their great work.
The Skinners have had their pottery exhibited in many galleries throughout south Mississippi. They also have pieces in private galleries in Denmark and Japan. Many of the pieces are sold through private sells or special orders.
